Having worked with one of the best people from super group Enigma Paddy decided to release a track in 1998 called "Desire". It reached number 15 in the European charts and number 10 in the Irish charts. He's produced several acclaimed remixes plus an album and more on the way. Few Irish DJs can boost of a 5-year residency at any club, not least at Dublin’s most prominent & exclusive club The Pod. It has been an icon to the Dublin dance sense... "I musically guided the Dublin dance culture though early crazy funky house panorama, and euphonic days of club culture to the more mature sophisticated culture of today. However, having achieved that, I decided to leave the Pod and move across the water to perform my “euphoric funky house sets” these became very popular" Paddy reveals. Here's what else he had to say about his experiences: "2000, was such a busy year having been spotted playing at a New Years Eve bash I was introduced to a club owner from Boston, while all the chat was going on I landed myself a spot in one of Boston’s top spots, following that I was asked to take a residency That’s something you can’t refuse. Word and month got around and I was asked to play Avalon which happens to be one of the biggest clubs in Boston so from there I was asked to play New York at Twilo!" "June & July 2000, I played New York been the second Irish DJ only ever to play Twilo on a Saturday night. While commutating between USA and Ireland, I had to play in BCM Spain, for the opening party for Muzic Mag which included Jude Jules, Danny Rampling, Des Michelle & myself…" "August 2000, Ibiza was the place for three gigs with Jeremy Healy,@ Esparadise then back to Dublin to start a residency @ my home town in MoNo, a radio show on one of Dublin’s popular stations NOVA, 94.7 FM. As for MoNo well this speaks for itself. Playing to Dublin’s most energetic crowd it’s a delight to be back in control of club life again @ one of Dublin’s popular clubs. Dublin’s always been the place where I started the whole house music thing…taking into account that I learned from some of the most honored dj’s in the world such as Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries who I preformed with on several occasions". "With my extensive wide range of musical knowledge and a degree in sound engineering ,I decided to go into the studios to record a track, this incorporated a member of the group Enigma in 1999, the track was released and reached no.5 in the European charts, I then went onto remixing and engineering music for Bolt UK records. Most recently I released a track called Monophonic that reached no.2 in the dance charts and I’m currently working on a track due for release mid September". |
